SUERTE ALTA COUPAGE ORGANIC D.O.P.

Oljen fra Suerte Alta er noe av det aller ypperste innen olivenolje. Den er organisk fremstilt fra A til Å i et omeråde de har fremstilt olivenolje i siden 1200 tallet. Familien som produserer denne oljen har lange tradisjoner og stolthet som gjør denne oljen til noe helt unikt.

 

Tasting Notes: This blend retains the nuances of its three olive varietals, giving the oil a rewarding, deep complexity. The Picuado olives produce notes of green leaf and green almond while the Hojiblanca olives impart a pungent peppery sensation. The Picual is reminiscent of tomato plants and figs. Pair with roasted vegetables and buttery fishes, such as sea bass.

Production: It is produced with the younger olives in the farm, aged between 10 and 40. The harvest is in the early November. We collect only from the tree and never from the ground, and the fast grinding, because the mill is in the farm, allows us to process the fruit immediately after being caught.

 

All the olive oils of Suerte Alta, the Natural Coupage and Picual de Envero, have an organic certification guaranteeing the absence of residues from herbicides, insecticides and chemical composts as well a certificate of origin since the olive oil is sealed, analyzed and qualified by a panel of eight experts directly in the olive mill. The organic farming methods have given rise to the formation of a mantle of autochthonous vegetation that covers the terrain during the rainy season, favoring the production of an olive oil that is full of very characteristic aromas, tastes and nuances. The Suerte Alta oils are famous all over the world since they are among the most awarded olive oils: many the prizes won in Great Britain, Israel, Japan, Italy, France, USA, Germany and obviously in Spain.
